Ballina has an extensive network for bicycle paths along the river and coast all the way to Lennox Head. We have maps in store; click below for the PDF map.

Ballina CBD has timed parking. Click below for the MAP. Look for RED and undesignated areas (no colour). One of these is the vacant lot on the corner of Cherry and Crane Streets.
With thousands of kilometres of sealed roads across the region, the Northern Rivers is an ideal place for road cycling. Most of the roads in the region are minor highways and rural roads with very few cars and less trucks. Local roads wind through farms and forests with some spectacular scenery.
Duck Creek Mountain Bike Park contains approximately 9 kilometres of mountain bike specific cross-country and all-mountain style trails which include flow, technical and free ride styles. The trail network includes easy and difficult trails suitable to a variety of riding abilities.
New Italy Mountain Bike Forest is a cross country trail network located within beautiful sclerophyll forests. There are about 30km of purpose built single track mountain bike trails. Note that New Italy is currently only open to NRDW Mountain Bike club members, as it's still recovering from the damage caused by the bushfires.
The Northern Rivers region is bounded by the Pacific Ocean to the east and the New England region to the west. To the north is the border between NSW and QLD. Use the Trailforks app on iOS or Android to discover all the amazing mountain bike parks you can ride - worldwide!

Visit 300 acres of awesome on the outskirts of Kyogle township. These trails lie within the Boorabee State Forest which means they can be accessed free all year round, weather permitting of course!
